MOTUS

Motus is the concept for an exhibition under the theme of Metamorphosis. The task of this group work was to fill a square space with multimedia content. We decided to consider Methamorphosis as a change in the lives of people – people like you and me, whom we encounter at any time in our everyday lives. Everyone was asked the same question „What was the biggest change in your life?“ – each of them has a story, here they get a hearing.
We rounded the corners of the space to create a place where no one is backed into a corner. Since we wanted to focus on the people, the room is also darkened. As soon as you enter the exhibition, you hear a buzz of voices from all the interviews. In order to listen to a person’s story without bias, the screens are turned outward. So grab a pair of headphones from the center of the room, follow the stereo sound to the appropriate screen, and give a person your ear. For an eye-level meeting, we filmed the individuals in portrait mode. The screens are about 220cm tall, allowing you to face the narrator directly. In addition, the floor on which the interviewed person is standing is projected into the exhibition space. When the interview is over, you can repeat the process as often as you like.

My tasks in this project were, besides conducting some interviews, the creation of concept drawings as well as the 3D modeling of the exhibition and the animation of the video.
